Hey guys, how's going?

It's early in the morning right now and I have a lab session this morning around 9 o'clock so I tried not to fall asleep as I most likely will miss that lab if I sleep right now. Lol.

Anyway, while I surf the Internet trying to kill some time, I read a good site which I found interesting and worth sharing. I think lots a people might have an interest in this discussion topic as this is related to wifi connection on for laptops.

Have anyone wondered why your some of your laptop not able to detect or received 5GHz wifi networks, eventhough you do have routers that support 5GHz frequency wifi signal? I have the problem as this and even wondered sometime, but never done proper research before until just now so here's the reason why and how to check whether your laptop support 5GHz wifi network.

First this to do is, you guys need to use command prompt for windows (you can automatically find this by typing 'cmd' in 'search' section on your Charm bar) and type this line of code in the 'cmd' screen:

netsh wlan show driver

This will show your wlan network driver specs. You need to look for 'Radio type supported' section on the specs for example as shown below:

Stated that if your network driver support not just 'bgn' but also 'a' or 'ac' means that it does support 5GHz frequency networks. For instance, in the example 'cmd' screen above, the driver does support 802.11a which means it does support 5GHz frequency networks.

Note: My explanation above is for windows 8/8.1 so for anyone who use Windows7/Vista/XP, please do check this link as I use some details from this link for my 'research' this morning (yawn).

Hope help you guys. Well, at least it help solve my problem.
Till then, See ya

The beginning of a new chapter, the blog!

*staring at the title of the post with deep thinking.. hurm~ oh well!

(Inhale deeply)

This day marks the 1st day I create a blog (clap). Actually, this is my 2nd blog as I did created a blog once using different email and just messing around try to familiarize with the PHP and HTML codes and stuff that can be customized here. Quite interesting though back then when I over-customize my blog creating a lag while loading my blog (facepalm). Well, let just say, as time goes by, I was kind of forgetting already the password and email that I use for my old blog LOL.

So, after a few years passed, I decided to create a new blog as I think that I should do this a long time ago for some reasons. To tell the truth, I saw writing a blog as a best medium for me to practice my English language considering I'm quite an introvert type in-person. Besides, I do encounter lots of good stuff on the Internet that I need to save for reading later on and I've tonnes of bookmarks which annoying me when trying to search for specific ones.

Hence, my plan is to gather all the articles or info that I found interesting in this blog so that I can refer back anytime systematically without any problem. Well, maybe indirectly I able to share my favorite articles and stories that I found on the websites with you guys who read my post. Hopefully the owner of the sites will have any problem for me to copy and paste their post to mine. If you're reading this post right now, I would say don't worry as I'll attach together your website/blog link together with your articles that I copied. Sharing is caring, right?

My teacher once taught me that, the best person lived is a person who give benefit others.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and read my post. Do follow me if you like.

Bye for now.
